The Golf Nut

The Golf Nut stroke

The game is a walk in the park , the game is to frustrating , the game is just knocking around a little
white ball till it goes in a hole.

I Love It. I Love It.
This is the Game that challenges you to be a better person , challenges you to think , challenges you
to hit a little white ball down a fairway onto a green then into a hole in as less strokes as possible.

Every golf course is different every game is a different experience no to day's are going to be the same.
The weather can play a big part in how you play the course and how you as a person hold up
against the course.

I'm not a very good player but, i totally enjoy being out playing the game meeting new people and seeing how they play the game i love.
Watching the scenery hitting one or two good shots maybe even putting a couple together to get
a birdie.up
Golf is a wonderful game that you can enjoy with friends , complete strangers and still have a good time learning about yourself, catching up with the latest news, making business deals.

Golf is social, Golf is just you against you.

The Method
I believe in a method for everything.
Theirs so many swings but, out of all of them you should produce the correct impact of the club on the ball. Once you have achieved that consistently, then it doesn't matter how your doing it but as long as your consistent.
When you watch professionals on t.v. you start to see fundamentals that are the same. You cannot look at a professional without seeing that they align there feet and shoulders to where they want to aim the ball.
I think on of the first things you should work on to create a consistent swing is your tempo.
The tempo is like dancing "you know 1 2 3 ,123". Just like in dancing it should be smooth not choppy not without rhythm.
Once you have found your on special formula don't think about it just repeat it over and over.
Planning your shot and letting your body do the shot is how it should be done.Visualize the shot down to impact and to where you would like it to go. But once you get over the ball with the correct alignment then let the club swing with no thoughts in your mind.

This may sounds stupid but every professional does these Three Components in a Swing.

1) their correct just before impact.

2) their correct at impact.

3) and their correct after impact.

Looking at your divet tells a lot.
If your divet is before then you have to adjust your swing ark to get the divet just after the ball.
If you don't have a divet then you could be hitting the ball half way up the ball or what we call thin.
If you don't have divet but a dent you hit the top of the ball and the ball doesn't go very far.
This is called looking up before impact because it lifts your shoulders out of position.
If your divet is after but going to the right , first check your alignment, then did it draw or fade.
Work on keeping your elbows into your chest.
If your divets are after the ball but go to left, first check your alignment, then whether it went with a draw or a fade.If your ball went left then your hips came though to fast. It's alright for your hips to come though to fast but if your body or your head is ahead of the ball your going to send that ball of to the left every time.
If your divet is straight then it should be right down the middle unless your alignment was wrong ,if that's your problem imagine the long set of railroad tracks leading back to your feet alignment and shoulders alignment, and then correct to imagine that tracks leading to your aim spot.
